Terms of use
For everyone who uses StackBid, with or without an account.
What StackBid is
StackBid gathers public tenders for tech work from official sources, sums each one up in plain language and, if you add a firm profile, says whether your firm looks able to bid. Finding and reading tenders is free.
Check the official notice
Summaries, requirement lists and "Can we bid this?" are a guide, made by reading the notice automatically. They can be wrong or out of date. The buyer's own notice and documents are what count: always read them, and check the closing date and how to submit, before you bid. StackBid isn't responsible for a bid that is late, ruled out or lost.
The tenders belong to their buyers
Tender notices come from public portals such as CanadaBuys, SAM.gov, Find a Tender, TED and AusTender, under their own terms. Each tender page links to the original. You can use what you read on StackBid to find and bid for work. Please don't copy the site in bulk or resell it; the RSS feed and spreadsheet download are there for your own use.
Your account
Use your own work email and keep sign-in links to yourself. What you put in your firm profile should be true, because it decides what we tell you. You can close your account at any time by emailing us, and we may close an account that is used to misuse the site.
Changes
We may change these terms as StackBid grows. If a change matters to members, we'll say so by email before it applies. What we keep about you is covered by the privacy notice.
