We want everyone who bids for tech work to be able to use StackBid.

What we aim for

StackBid aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Pages are built to work with a keyboard and screen readers, to stay readable when zoomed, and to follow your device's light or dark setting.

How we check

Before each change goes live, an automated check opens every main page in light and dark and tests it against WCAG 2.1 A and AA with axe. Automated checks don't find everything, so we want to hear about anything they miss.

What we know isn't right yet

Tender documents are the buyers' own files, often scanned PDFs, and we can't change them. Where we can, the tender page gives the important parts as text: the summary, the closing date and the requirements.
